Fabulous tour, staying in some amazing hotels and seeing some wonderful cities. Paul and Lisa looked after us very well, I would definitely travel with Leger (and Paul and Lisa) again.

Two of the paradors were fabulous. The others less so. Magnificent locations & rooms, but very poor food in some of them, apart from the breakfasts. Leger guests are separated from the other guests, who get much better food, which is always annoying. We felt like lepers! Not value for money as this holiday is very expensive. Twice we were served an indifferent carrot soup when the temperature was in the mid 30’s. The desserts were unappealing, dry chocolate cake with ice cream on 3 occasions. Where was all the lovely fresh fruit? So disappointing.

The hotels were supurb, all very historic and interesting buildings in gorgeous locations. The visits to the old walled cities was full if history and interest too……parts of Spain and Portugal so different to the normal touristic destinations. Good guides, brilliant drivers who quickly became old friends and lots of new friends in fellow passengers…..what’s not to like. Can’t wait until the next break in September!

All the locations were lovely. Food could have been better. We stayed at three different hotels, and had the same starter. Carrot soup, which was nice, but three consecutive nights. At our last hotel most of us didn't eat our main course. It was terrible. It looked as though it was left over from the day before. The chops looked as though someone had scraped all the meat of and we were left with the bones.
