8-Day Break

• Dec 21 – We break up our journey with a night in northern France.
• Dec 22 – We continue south through France, on to the Ligurian coast, where we arrive at our hotel. B,D
• Dec 23 – St. Paul de Vence and Cannes (included). Excursion to the charming medieval town of St. Paul de Vence, with its wonderful sea and mountain views. Later, we visit Cannes, home to the film festival and its tree-lined Boulevard de la Croisette. B,D
• Christmas Eve – Eze and Nice (optional). Excursion to the mountain village of Eze, perched high above the Mediterranean, and Nice, with its old narrow streets and famous seafront Promenade des Anglais. B,D
• Christmas Day – San Remo (included). We enjoy an afternoon coastal excursion to San Remo. B,L,D
• Boxing Day – Monaco & Monte Carlo (optional). Visit the Principality of Monaco, the world's smallest sovereign state, then spend time in glitzy Monte Carlo. B,D
• Dec 27 – We spend a night in northern France. B
• Dec 28 or Jan 4 – We arrive in Calais for our return journey home. B
