7-Day Break

• Dec 22 or Dec 29 – We travel to Belgium and stay overnight.
• Dec 23 or Dec 30 –Cologne (included). En route to our Hannover hotel, we visit the cathedral city of Cologne, with the chance to browse the Christmas market stalls. B,D
• Christmas Eve or New Years Eve – Hannover Sightseeing (optional). This morning’s sightseeing tour will take in the highlights of Hannover, the capital of Lower Saxony, and includes a visit to the Royal Gardens of Herrenhausen. In the afternoon, we’ll have free time for shopping or discovering Hannover’s many treasures. B,D
• Christmas Day or New Years Day –Hamelin (included). Enjoy a morning at leisure, before our Christmas buffet lunch. In the afternoon, we take a scenic drive to the quaint town of Hamelin, on the banks of the Weser River, famously associated with the story of the Pied Piper. B,L,D
• Boxing Day or Jan 2 – Harz Mountains (included) We venture into the beautiful Harz Mountains, and take a journey on the beautiful Harz Narrow-Gauge Railway. The narrow-gauge steam train takes us along the Harquer and Mount Brocken Railways to the Brocken peak for a panoramic view of the Upper Harz National Park. B,D
• Dec 27 or Jan 3 – During our journey home, we spend a night in Belgium. B
• Dec 28 or Jan 4 – We arrive in Calais for our return journey home. B
