• Dec 27 – To Belgium and Hasselt for a three-night stay.
• Dec 28 – Cologne (included). A full-day excursion into Germany to the banks of the River Rhine and the cathedral city of Cologne. Take time to visit the Dom (Cathedral) with its two spires, the city’s most famous landmark for centuries and the most well-known architectural monument in Germany. B
• Dec 29 – Valkenburg (included). Today we have an included visit to Holland, to Valkenburg. Situated at the crossroads of three countries, the town has long been a favoured destination for travellers in Europe. The ‘Marlstone Town’, as it is known locally, is renowned for its castle and elaborate system of Roman caves and tunnels which run beneath the streets. Explore the quaint cobbled alleyways, visit the shops or relax with a glass of the local white beer. B
