9-Day Break

• Day 1 – To Paris for an overnight stay.
• Day 2 – Meet your Tour Manager and transfer to the Gare de Lyon for the TGV to Perpignan, then by coach to Santa Susanna for a seven-night stay.B,D
• Day 3 – Barcelona (included). Today we travel to the fascinating city of Barcelona. The city has a delightfully relaxed atmosphere, particularly along the bustling Las Ramblas. Join our guided tour. B,D
• Day 4 – Montserrat (optional). Join us today on our excursion to Montserrat, known as the ‘serrated mountain’. This ninth-century Benedictine monastery is surrounded by spectacular scenery, so a camera is a must.B,D
• Day 5 – Costa Brava Coastal Tour (optional). We travel north to Tossa de Mar. Within the medieval walls are fishermen’s cottages, a 14th-century church and plenty of bars. We continue to Lloret de Mar, the busiest and liveliest resort on the Costa Brava. Our final destination is Blanes, renowned for its lace.B,D
• Day 6 – Catalonia Country Tour (optional). We head to the cool of the wooded hills of Catalonia, accompanied by our local guide. During your day a delicious typical Catalan lunch will be served before your return to the coast.B,D
• Day 7 – Girona and Besalu (optional). Our first stop is the charming town of Girona. Behind the colourful houses lining the River Onyar lies the Old Town, with its imposing Gothic cathedral and maze of narrow streets. We then make our way to the medieval town of Besalu.B,D
• Day 8 – To Perpignan by coach, then to Paris by TGV for an overnight stay.B
• Day 9 –Return home by coach or Eurostar to the UK. B
