Your Holiday Itinerary
13-Day Break
- Day 1 – Travel by coach from a local joining point to Dover to board the Costa Mediterranea and set sail at 1900. D
- Day 2 – Le Havre (France). Arrive 0800. Depart 1900. Optional Excursion - Giverney (for Monet's Garden) and Rouen B,L,D
- Day 3 – Cruising at sea. B,L,D
- Day 4 – Vigo (Spain). Arrive 0800. Depart 1800. Optional Excursion - Santiago de Compostela B,L,D
- Day 5 – Lisbon (Portugal). Arrive 0800. Depart 1700. Optional Excursion - Quelez, Sintra and Lisbon B,L,D
- Day 6 – Cadiz (Spain). Arrive 0900 Depart 2000. Optional Excrusion - Seville B,L,D
- Day 7 – Malaga (Spain). Arrive 0800 Depart 1300. Optional Excursion - Malaga tour B,L,D
- Day 8 – Cruising across the Mediterranean sea. B,L,D
- Day 9 – Arrive Savona 1000. Disembark and our coach will be waiting to take you to your choice of destination either Lake Garda or the Austrian Tirol for a three-night stay. B,D
- Day 12 – We leave Austria or Lake Garda and travel north to Belgium for an overnight stay. B
- Day 13 – Homeward bound via Calais. B
Lake Garda Option
- Day 10 – Venice (included). We travel to the “City of Canals”, Venice, where you can take in the sights such as the Rialto Bridge, St. Mark’s Square and the Doges Palace. Take a gondola ride (optional) through the canals or join our optional cruise on the Venice Lagoon, which gives a different view over St. Mark’s Square, sailing past the Giudecca Island and Lido seaside resort, made famous by the International Film Festival. - Day 11 – Lake Garda (optional). We explore Riva del Garda and also spend time at the lovely town of Malcesine. The cruise (optional) across the lake to the quaint resort of Limone, with its attractive harbour and cobbled streets, is a must. B,D
Austrian Tirol Option
- Day 10 – Zell am See and Kitzbühel (included). We spend the day seeing the beauty of Austria. We visit lovely Zell am See, situated in a scenic position on the shores of lake Zell, and also visit the c hic winter and summer resort of Kitzbühel with its walled Old Town. Opt for a cable car ride up the mighty Hahnenkamm Mountain to see the amazing views. B,D
- Day 11 – Innsbruck (optional). An excursion to the so-called “Capital of the Tirol”, the grand city of Innsbruck situated against the backdrop of the Nordkette mountain range. See the Golden Roof in the Old Town and stroll along the Marie Theresienstrasse. B,D
- Day 12 – BOTH ITINERARY OPTIONS We leave Austria or Lake Garda and travel to Belgium for an overnight stay. B,L,D
- Day 13 – Malaga (Spain). Homeward bound via Calais. B,L,D
