Discovering Unter den Linden Avenue

Between Brandenburg Gate and the Spree River, the prestigious Unter den Linden presents an overview of Berlin’s history. Old Berlin from Castle Bridge to Alexanderplatz

This visit of the historical centre of Berlin will begin at Schlossplatz square on the site of the 15th century Berlin City Palace, which was demolished during the 1950s to house government buildings of the East German regime such as the Palast der Republik. From here, we will make our way to Alexanderplatz, Berlin with its enormous TV tower – another symbol of the cold war. Museum Island and the little-known neighbourhood nearby

During the Cold War, Berlin’s heart beat slowly. However, since reunification, a burst of renewal has taken over – perfectly exemplified by Museum Island. The Peter and Paul Fortress

Vasilievsky Island

Palace square and the 1st part of Nevsky Prospect

This audio tour will introduce you to famous Nevsky Prospekt Avenue, one of the oldest and liveliest areas of the city. We will start at the Hermitage and end at the Gostiny Dvor, the most famous covered market of the city. Of course, we’ll be making a few detours either side of the avenue and even stepping inside some of these places, famous for their history, architecture or current relevance.

From the Field of Mars to Arts square

It’s highly unusual to come across a capital city such as Saint Petersburg that was built “all at once”.
