4-Day Break

• Day 1 – We travel to Holyhead for the ferry sailing to Ireland, then onwards to Enniscorthy for a three-night stay. D
• Day 2 – St. Patrick's Day - Dublin (included). The one national holiday that is celebrated in more countries around the world than any other is St. Patrick's Day. What better place to be than Dublin, where we can join in the party atmosphere of the sparkling parades filing past. We enjoy the marching bands, dancing troops, military processions and street entertainers doing what the Irish do best - providing great entertainment! B
• Day 3 – Kilkenny (included) Kilkenny (included) is Ireland’s finest medieval city. Above the broad sweep of the River Nore sits the castle, while a pretty humpbacked stone bridge leads up into narrow, cheerful streets, laced with carefully maintained buildings. There’s free time to explore the town at leisure, perhaps visiting Kilkenny Castle (entrance fee approx. 5 Euros) or taking a stroll around the pretty lanes and streets. Our optional Kilkenny sightseeing walking tour is an enjoyable way to get to know the medieval capital of Ireland, and spot the best stores to explore later! B,D
• Day 4 – We travel to Dublin's port and catch a ferry to Holyhead, then continue our journey home. B
