9-Day Break

• Day 1 Door-to-door departure, then to Calais. Relax on our overnight journey towards Rovinj.
• Day 2 Arrive in Rovinj in the afternoon for a 6-night stay. D
• Day 3 Rovinj. B,D
• Excursions & Visits – Rovinj (included). See the lovely harbour area and explore the narrow streets of the Old Town on our optional guided walking tour.
• Day 4 ‘Istrian Mosaic’ excursion to Pazin and Pula. B,D
• Excursions & Visits – Istrian Mosaic (included). We travel through vineyards and olive groves, red plains and green valleys. The pearl of the mosaic is Pula, with its Roman Amphitheatre, the sixth largest in the world. We also visit Pazin, an old town with a well-preserved medieval fortress.
• Day 5 Day at leisure. B,D
• Day 6 Lim Fjord. B,D
• Excursions & Visits – Lim Fjord (optional). We take the boat from Rovinj to explore the Nature Reserve of the Lim Fjord, an area of natural beauty. We pause at a fish restaurant where you can enjoy the local delicacy.
• Day 7 Porec. B,D
• Excursions & Visits – Porec (optional). Enjoy a visit to the popular resort of Porec, which lays claim to being the jewel of the Istrian Peninsula. This old town with its historical influences, dating to Roman times, has blossomed into a beautiful resort, with bars, cafés and restaurants lining the waterfront.
• Day 8 Enjoy free time in Rovinj before our return overnight journey towards Calais. B
• Day 9 Arrive in Calais, then onwards home, via our door-to-door service.
