9-Day Break

• Day 1 Door-to-door departure, then to Calais. Relax on our overnight journey towards Rovinj.
• Day 2 Arrive in Rovinj in the afternoon for a 6-night stay. D
• Day 3 Rovinj (included). See the lovely harbour area and ‘waiting to be explored’ Old Town. Explore the narrow streets on our optional guided walking tour. B,D
• Day 4 Istrian Mosaic (included). We travel through vineyards and olive groves, red plains and green valleys. The pearl of the mosaic is Pula, with its Roman Amphitheatre, the sixth largest in the world. We also visit Pazin, an old town with a well-preserved medieval fortress. B,D
• Day 5 Day at leisure. B,D
• Day 6 Lim Fjord (optional). We take the boat from Rovinj to explore the Nature Reserve of the Lim Fjord, an area of natural beauty. We pause at a fish restaurant where you can enjoy a local delicacy. B,D
• Day 7 Postojna Caves and Lipica Stud Farm (optional). Visit the awe inspiring caves at Postojna, then the world-famous Stud Farm at Lipica to see the white Lipizaner horses associated with the Spanish Riding School in Vienna. B,D
• Day 8 Enjoy free time in Rovinj before return overnight journey towards Calais. B
• Day 9 Arrive in Calais, then onwards home, via our door-to-door service.
