4-Day Break
- Day 1 – Fly to Budapest, where you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel for a three-night stay. D
- Day 2 – Budapest (included). A local representative will meet you after breakfast at your hotel and take you by public transport into the city for an orientation walk so that you can get your bearings. Then you have a day at leisure to discover the vibrant Hungarian capital of Budapest, divided by the Danube River. The Christmas market is situated on Vörösmarty Square in the heart of Pest and is awash with colourful stalls and an outdoor stage with festive-themed shows. B,D
- Day 3 – Szentendre (optional). To savour the full flavour of Hungary, join an optional visit to Szentendre, a small unspoilt town known as ‘The Pearl of the Danube Bend’. Its charming cobbled streets, small squares, red-tiled roofs and brightly painted houses create the perfect setting in which to explore the Christmas market. B,D
- Day 4 – Transfer to Budapest airport for your return flight home. B
