Your Holiday Itinerary

9-Day Break

• Day 1 – We break up our journey with an overnight stay in Belgium.
• Day 2 – We arrive at our hotel in the Italian Süd Tirol for a six-night stay. B,D
• Day 3 – Italian Dolomites (optional). Cameras at the ready to capture some of the most gorgeous mountain-scapes in Europe, dotted with pretty little villages, and even more spectacular views the higher we go. B,D
• Day 4 – Lake Garda (optional, included on Silver Service). Enjoy the beautiful scenery and sights, like Riva's Rocca fortress, built to defend the lake. Why not sample the local delicacies before leaving the shore for an optional cruise on Lake Garda, with lovely mountain scenery. B,D
• Day 5 – Innsbruck and Vipiteno (optional). We cross the Brenner Pass into Innsbruck, where we can see the famous Golden Roof, Hofburg Palace and Maria Theresien Street. On the other side of the pass, spend some time shopping in the town of Vipiteno. B,D
• Day 6 – Venice (included) A bustling city, full of bridges, canals and elegant edifices, such as the Bridge of Sighs and St. Mark's Square. The quieter little backstreets can be explored on foot (bring some comfortable walking shoes!), and an optional gondola ride completes any trip to Venice, taking in the sights from a calmer angle. B
• Day 7 – Brunico (included). There's some free time on our final morning in Italy and then an afternoon in Brunico, in the ever-green Puster Valley. Don't forget to sample some of the charming local cuisine the town is favoured for. B,D
• Day 8 – During our journey home, we spend a night in Belgium. B
• Day 9 – Journey to Calais then return home. B

For 2009, the itinerary will slightly change and below outlines the changes:

• Day 1 – Local departure then onwards through the night towards Italy.
