4-Day Weekend Break

• Day 1 – We travel to Amsterdam to join our cruise ship, the Rhine Princess. LS
• Day 2 – Keukenhof Park (entry included). We cruise to Volendam, with its quaint harbour, then by coach to Keukenhof Park, to see the amazing display of flowers and spring plants. Return to the ship at Enkhuizen for dinner and party night. B,L,D
• Day 3 – Hoorn, Amsterdam. We cruise from Enkhuizen through the scenic waters of the Ijsselmeer to picturesque Hoorn. Take an optional ride on the famous ‘Steam Tram’ railway, a nostalgic journey between Hoorn and Medemblick, before we rejoin the ship and sail to Amsterdam. There’s also an optional evening canal cruise available in Amsterdam.

  Please Note: those taking part in the Steam Train excursion will travel by coach from Medemblick to Amsterdam, and not by ship, and will have a packed lunch provided.

• Day 4 – To Calais by coach then home. B

5-Day Midweek Break

• Day 1 – We travel to Amsterdam to join our cruise ship, the Rhine Princess. LS
• Day 2 – Keukenhof Park(entry included). We cruise to Volendam, then by coach to Keukenhof Park, to see the display of flowers and spring plants. Return to the ship in Hoorn, with its beautiful 17th-century houses. B,L,D
• Day 3 – Lemmer We cruise across the Ijsselmeer to Lemmer and an optional afternoon excursion to the Royal Country Palace of Het Loo, in a lovely setting near Apeldoorn. This was the favourite summer residence of the Royal Family of the Netherlands from 1686 to 1975. We enjoy a party on board ship tonight. B,L,D
• Day 4 – Amsterdam On arrival in Amsterdam we travel to Zaanse Schaans, a reconstructed historical working village on the banks of the river Zaan. Later we return to Amsterdam, where you have the opportunity to join an optional evening canal cruise. Overnight onboard in Amsterdam. B,L,D
• Day 5 – To Calais by coach then return home. B
