Your Holiday Itinerary
5-Day Break
- Day 1 – We arrive in the Paris area and stay for four nights.
- Day 2 – Versailles (included). We visit the impressive Château and Gardens of Versailles, originally created by Louis XIV (Château admission is extra – approx. €8). Our optional Paris by Night Tour begins with a visit to the Montparnasse Tower, from where you get the most beautiful view of Paris. B
- Day 3 – Loire Valley (included). The Loire Valley is renowned for its châteaux and fine wines. We visit Amboise, where Leonardo da Vinci spent his final years, and also home to the Château d’Amboise (château entrance is extra). Next, we visit the Château de Chenonceau, renowned for its architecture and lovely surroundings. Why not explore the beautiful formal gardens and maze (Château entrance is extra). B
- Day 4 – Paris (included). Our optional guided sightseeing tour is the best way to see the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, the Champs Elysées, the Place de la Concorde and Notre Dame Cathedral. For a different view of the city, we recommend our optional narrated cruise along the River Seine, past elegant buildings and beneath historic bridges. B
- Day 5 – We journey to Calais, then return home. B
