Darwin House Lodge
Darwin House was built in the late 1970s to replace the old “Managers House". It is a modern farmhouse with 5 bedrooms available for guests, and a choice of twin, double or family rooms, all offering great views over Choiseul Sound, the picturesque settlement and Wickham Heights. Two of the family bedrooms have en suite bathrooms, each equipped with a modern spa bath. There is a large and very comfortable lounge with TV and video, a pleasant dining room and a cosy, well-stocked bar. A no-smoking policy is applied throughout the house.
Your hosts, Ken and Bonnie Greenland, offer a warm welcome in an informal atmosphere, where the emphasis is on the good things of country life.
Malvina House Hotel
In recent years the hotel was successfully owned and operated by Mr M Rendell. In January 2004, a local Company Stanley Services Limited purchased it. Between May and September 2005, the Hotel underwent an extensive refurbishment with a newly designed Bar and Lounge area, new entrance and reception and an extension of the Restaurant. In addition another executive bedroom was added.
Our aim is to make sure that everybody who visits the Hotel whether as a resident or a restaurant guest has a memorable and relaxing visit.
The hotel currently has 17 twin and double rooms which are en suite and equipped with a direct dial phone, bath & shower, Hair-dryer and a Satellite TV.
