Bourgeois Salzburg: Getreidegasse and its surroundings

This audio guide is an ideal introduction to the city. You’ll discover the squares and lanes of the bourgeois town, including the famous Getreidegasse lined with delightful 18th century houses. Naturally, we’ll visit the house of Mozart, as well as some of the Baroque works of Fischer von Erlach.

A walking tour of the old city of Salzburg

During this tour we’ll be visiting some magnificent Baroque monuments in the old city from the Princes’ Palace to the Monastery of Saint Peter. Along the way, we’ll come across many fine, monumental sites such as the Dom or cathedral as well as many charming places often overlooked by visitors, including a mill tucked away in a courtyard and an old cemetery by the mountainside.

The Mirabell castle and district

The Mirabell district (north west of Salzburg) - About 2 hours

This walk takes us through the delightful Mirabell district which stretches from the banks of the river Salzach to the Mirabell gardens and castle. Along the way, we’ll be mentioning some of its well-known residents including Mozart, Doppler and Karajan. We’ll walk through some pretty squares, and pass the magnificent Baroque church of the Holy Trinity before visiting the Castle and its gardens.

1st visit to Prague castle: its 3 courtyards and St.Vitus cathedral

The castle district - About 1h30

Prague castle is a vast ensemble of buildings. We offer two separate walks to discover this millenary marvel, considered today as the symbol of the Czech nation. This first walk begins in the castle square and moves through three courtyards before joining St. Vitus’s cathedral. After visiting the interior of St. Vitus’s we end this visit in front of the Royal Palace. The second visit to the Castle includes the Royal Palace, St George's basilica, and Golden Lane.

The castle district - About 1h30

Prague castle is the most important architectural ensemble in all of Prague. In its 1,000-year history it has become so vast that we divide its visit into two separate audioguided tours. The first one is devoted to its three courtyards and St. Vitus’s cathedral. This second visit is devoted to the Royal Palace, St George's basilica, and Golden Lane.

Nove Mesto, from the Municipal House to Wenceslas Square

Nove Mesto - About 2 hours

During our visit to Nové Mesto, New Town in Czech, it is the Prague of the 19th and 20th centuries that we shall discover. Starting from the Municipal House, and continuing via Na Prikope Avenue and various small passages and hidden galleries, we shall reach Wenceslas Square, where the most diverse styles cohabit side by side: Viennese Secession, Art Nouveau, Neoclassical and more.

Classic Mala Strana, from the Castle to Vrtba Garden

Mala Strana district - About 2 hours

Mala Strana, “Lesser Town” in English, is a charming Baroque quarter nestled on the side of the hill between the Castle and the Vltava River. On this walk, we leave the Castle behind and come down Nerudova Street, lined with Baroque palaces. We pass through Mala Strana Square where we will stop to discover the Church of St. Nicholas, a masterpiece of Baroque religious architecture. From there, we move on to Vtrba Garden and its beautiful view of the area.

Stare Mesto: from the Charles Bridge to Namesti square

Old Town (Stare Mesto) - About 2 hours

We will begin our walk in Mala Strana, on the left bank of the river Vltava, where we will cross the Charles Bridge, one of the most beautiful bridges in Europe. From there, we will be engulfed into Karlova Street and reach the charming Bethlehem Square away from the crowds of tourists.
This walk ends in Old Town Square, where our second Stare Mesto audioguided tour begins.
