8-Day Break
- Day 1 – We travel to Belgium and stop for an overnight stay.
- Day 2 – We arrive in Feldkirch and stay for three nights. B,D
- Day 3 – Innsbruck (included). The capital of the Tirol, on the River Inn, Innsbruck hosted the Winter Olympics in 1964 and 1976. During our full-day excursion, we can explore the city's centre and admire the Hofburg Palace, St. James Cathedral and the famous Golden Roof building, which is popular with photo enthusiasts. There are also quaint alleys, the charming Old Town and the Wilten Basilica to see. B,D
- Day 4 – Bregenz and Lindau (optional, included on Silver Service). At the crossroads of Germany, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Austria, Bregenz's Roman roots date back before the 7th century. The island of Lindau, on the Bodensee, is a former free Imperial city and a water-lover's paradise. Its most striking landmark is the marina entrance, with its beautiful white lighthouse on the south and a lion statue on the north. B,D
- Day 5 – We leave Austria for Switzerland and a two-night stay. You can choose to travel either by coach or take an optional train ride on the route of the Swiss Glacier Express - The journey will take you through unforgettable scenery as we climb to the summit of the Oberalp massif. Enjoy breathtaking views through quaint mountain towns, seeing the Rhine River as a mountain stream. The optional train ride must be purchased at the time of booking in order to guarantee your seat reservation. Price £33 per person. B,D
- Day 6 – Lucerne (included), then Brienz and Interlaken (optional). Morning visit to Lucerne, one of Leger’s most popular destinations. The town features medieval squares, frescoed houses, churches and chapels. (optional) over the Brunig Pass takes us to thousand-year-old Brienz, a Bernese Oberland resort on the banks of Lake Brienz, where the local church dates back to the 12th century. We then travel around the lake shores to Interlaken's ski resort. B,D
- Day 7 – We travel to our hotel in the Paris outskirts for an overnight stay. B
- Day 8 – We arrive in Calais for our return journey home. B
