5-Day Break

• Day 1 – To Noordwijk aan Zee and the suburb of Noordwijkerhout for a four-night stay.
• Day 2 – Amsterdam (included). Holland’s most vibrant city boasts 165 canals, 1281 bridges, 42 museums and a magical atmosphere. Admire the 17th century merchant houses or visit the floating flower market, which is always ablaze with colour regardless of the season and explore the numerous boutiques and antique shops. During the day you can join an optional canal cruise, for a different view of this great city. B,D
• Day 3 – Noordwijk aan Zee (included) Enjoy the day in Noordwijk, a seaside resort of international fame, with its 8-mile beach. Surrounded by woods and dunes in the heart of the Dutch bulb growing area, Noordwijk is often described as the flower seaside resort of Europe. In the afternoon you can join an optional excursion to nearby Delft, famed for its Delft Blue Pottery. B,D
• Day 4 – Marken and Volendam (included). Today we take a full-day excursion to the fishing villages of Marken and Volendam located on the coast of the former Zuiderzee (now called Ijsselmeer). These charming villages are famous for their wooden houses and their colourful residents, many of whom still wear their traditional costumes. B,D
• Day 5 – To Calais, then return home. B
