Your Hotels

You’ll stay for six nights at the 3-star Hotel Goldener Adler in the centre of the old walled town of Freistadt, located 25 miles north of Linz in Upper Austria. The hotel has a restaurant, TV room, lounge, small garden area, bar and lift. All bedrooms have T.V. and telephone. Also offered is the complimentary use of the hotel’s Jacuzzi, sauna and steam bath. Please note: May 10, May 24, Aug 30 and Sep 6 departures operate with a different itinerary on the following days of the tour: On Day 6 you will travel by coach to Engelhartszell, where we include a guided tour of the monastery. Continue by coach to Passau for a city tour, before joining our ship for the cruise back to Linz with four-course dinner on board. The brass band festival at Obermühl is not included on these dates. On Day 7 you will travel by coach to Grein for a sparkling wine reception, followed by coach to Melk. Time for individual sightseeing before cruising from Melk to Krems. Return to Hellmonsödt by coach.
