Your Holiday Itinerary

8-Day Break

• Day 1 – We break up our journey with an overnight stay in Belgium.
• Day 2 – We arrive at the Italian Sud Tirol for six nights. B,D
• Day 3 – Steinhaus (included). We meet our guide and take a circular walk from the village of St. Peter along the mountain path to the lovely village of Steinhaus, where we have lunch. We return to St. Peter via an alternative route, arriving back at the hotel in time for dinner (approx. 10km). B,D
• Day 4 – Pilgrimage (included). Setting out from Prettau's copper mine, we pass through the woods, pausing at a charming pilgrim church, before heading towards the Alder Alm. After lunch, we return to the hotel via the pilgrimage route to Prettau (approx. 14 km). B,D
• Day 5 – Waldner (included). We embark upon the most challenging, yet most spectacular and rewarding of our walks. From Prettau, we ascend from 1500m to approximately 2300m to the Waldner Alm. Enjoy outstanding views of the region, before beginning our descent to the village of St. Peter (approx. 17 km). B,D
• Day 6 – Free day or Venice (optional). A day's break from walking, we visit Venice (optional), with its rich architecture - magnificent bridges and canals. Famous sights include the Bridge of Sighs, St. Mark's Square and the Doges' Palace. An exciting way to explore the city is to try a gondola ride (optional) . A Venice Lagoon cruise (optional) with English commentary, talking in many of the famous islands on the lagoon is a relaxing way to view the magnificent view of this great city. B
• Day 7 – Klausberg Mountain (included). We begin at Steinhaus, where we can visit the local museum. Continue by cable car up the Klausberg Mountain, before resuming our walk, stopping at a mountain alm for lunch. We then make our way back down the mountain to Steinhaus, catching the bus back to St. Peter (approx. 10 km). B
• Day 8 – We travel to our hotel in Belgium for an overnight stay. B
• Day 9 – We journey to Calais, then return home. B
