Your Holiday Itinerary
4-Day Break
- Day 1 – We arrive in the Paris area for three nights.
- Day 2 – Paris (included). To make the most of our day in the 'city of lights', our guided sightseeing tour (optional) takes in the famous Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysées, Place de la Concorde and Notre Dame Cathedral. For a different view of the city, there's a leisurely hour-long River Seine cruise (optional), complete with English commentary, that drifts past elegant buildings and beneath historic bridges. B
- Day 3 – Versailles and Montmartre (optional). We see the impressive Château and Gardens of Versailles, originally created for Louis XIV. Enjoy the regal splendour, the Eglise Notre-Dame, and the Lambinet Museum (château admission is extra). Then we enjoy the quaint atmosphere of Montmartre, with its artists' colony, galleries, and of course, the Basilica of the Sacre Coeur. (If you prefer you can spend the day exploring Paris independently). B
- Day 4 – We journey to Calais, then return home. B

Merely being in Paris puts you in a good mood. And if you haven’t been to Versailles, you really have missed something uniquely magnificent. I went with a party of 15 – one couple were celebrating their silver wedding anniversary. I can’t think of anywhere on earth that could have been a better choice. The magic never dies.
