Today, we set out to discover the coast of this beautiful island. Departing from our hotel, we travel along the coast via St. Aubin’s bay with its vast sandy beach. We then continue to St. Brelade’s Bay, regarded as one of Jersey’s most popular beaches due to its many family friendly activities, seaside café and restaurants, and then onto Corbière Lighthouse.
Designed by Sir John Coode, the lighthouse stands 35 feet tall. Its construction was completed in 1873 and on a clear day, its light can be seen for 18 miles.
From Corbière Lighthouse, we continue our journey along the coast to St. Ouen’s Bay, where we visit the Jersey Pearl Centre.
Finally, we visit the relaxed fishing village of Gorey, with its picturesque harbour and medieval Mont Orgueil Castle.
Please note: day of running is subject to change.

Why not stroll through the pedestrianised shopping area of St. Helier which is only a few minutes’ walk from the hotel or relax on the beach. Our local representative will offer various optional excursions if you wish to explore the island further.
Why not visit La Hougue Bie, the most spectacular prehistoric monument in the Channel Islands. The 40-foot mound, which is topped by a medieval chapel, houses a Neolithic passage grave built around 3,000 BC. There is an introductory film, a film showing the building of the reproduction Long House, an archeology museum and a display of artifacts from the world's largest Celtic coin discovery made in 2012 as well as a German Command Centre, now a memorial to the Island's forced workers during World War II.
Or why not visit stunning Gorey and Mont Orgueil Castle and explore the pretty village & harbour or visit the Jersey War Tunnels which offers a fascinating insight into the occupation of the island in WWII.
There is so much to see and do on the island!

I was most impressed withg the high quality of so much of my holiday. The hotel , the food , the organistion by Leger throughout the booking process and the holiday itself and the rep. were all first-class. I would, and have, highly recommend, the holiday experience and the pre and post holiday communications with Leger.
