"For my 50th birthday my wife and I chose this tour, as I have always wanted to visit Berlin. This would be our 3rd holiday in a row with Leger, having previously been on Picture book Italy and Dubrovnik and the Dalmatian Coast. This tour came highly recommended by our previous tour drivers, John and Tony.

Imagine our surprise and delight when we met our tour coach at Dover and found our drivers were again, John and Tony.
Our first night was in Belgium and in the morning we were on our way to Berlin.
Lunch at the Mohne Dam and then onto our excellent hotel in the centre of Berlin.
Day 3, 50 years old and a very short walk to the Brandenburg Gate, check point Charlie and the Berlin Wall. What a wonderful way to celebrate my birthday.
Days 4 and 5 we spent in Warsaw, a world heritage site where we explored the streets of the old town with its many bars and restaurants.
Leaving Warsaw, we were on our way to Krakow, stopping on route at the Auschwitz Birkenau Complex, a place never to be forgotten.
Krakow, another world heritage site was beautiful and the optional excursions to the Wieliczka Salt Mine and Polish Folklore Show are not to be missed.
Days 8 and 9 were in Budapest, a truly wonderful city and in our opinion the highlight of the holiday. The optional excursions of Budapest by night and the Danube lunch river cruise were fantastic and again not to be missed.
Leaving Budapest we had an overnight stay in Vienna, and when in Vienna you must do the Vienna Palace Concert at the beautiful Kursalon.
The last two days of our holiday were in Prague. The "Golden Town" was spectacular with the many historic buildings, Charles Bridge and Wenceslas Square. Don't miss the cruise on the Vltava River.
All too quickly a dream holiday comes to an end. The whole tour was fantastic and our drivers, and now friends, John and Tony did a brilliant job looking after us all.
What’s left, well there's always next year and our fourth trip with Leger.

"It was with some trepidation that my wife and I booked a tour of Eastern Europe Highlights. We had never taken a coach holiday before. Would we find it comfortable? Would we get on with other passengers? Would we enjoy it? The answer to all those questions, was, yes.

On arriving at Folkstone, we boarded our Silver Service Coach, oh what legroom and comfort. We introduced ourselves to our two great drivers, Keiron and Mike, who were both a mine of information and good fun. So, on a warm day after passing through the Channel Tunnel, we set off to Berlin, stopping on route at the Mohne Dam. I, being an aviation enthusiast, was over the moon.

On to the great city of Berlin, first taking a coach tour of the city and then a day of doing our own thing. The following day we set off to Poland and Warsaw, another great city, although it was destroyed in World War Two, the rebuilding of the city still gives it an old world charm, the architecture is colourful and stunning. It was here, quite by chance, that I discovered an aircraft museum and like a child in a sweet shop, I was in seventh heaven.

It was then on to Krakow, another delightful city, with a fabulous city square and shops. It’s surrounded by cafes and bars, a great place to people watch and Polish beer is great! We were now getting used to our fellow passengers and making friends, which made some of the longer travelling and driving days a more pleasant experience, as we could have a natter in the very comfortable lounge at the rear of the coach. Onwards again, this time via Auschwitz, a sombre place, taking time for reflection.

We then passed through Slovakia, to eventually arrive in Budapest, again another delightful city with stunning architecture. Our highlight of this city was the optional cruise with lunch, on the Danube, one of Europe's greatest rivers. We also enjoyed an evening tour of the city, where many of the buildings, churches and monuments are floodlit, making for stunning photographs.

The only rain of the whole two week trip started when we arrived in Vienna, but hey, that does not spoil the enjoyment of another great city. Our final city was Prague in the Czech Republic. What can we say about this city, it was vibrant, friendly, and full of great shopping and again stunning architecture- we will go back there, we loved it! As it was the last whole day of the holiday, most of us took a vintage tram ride around the city. Champagne, music and lots of singing, what a great way to finish a fantastic tour of East Europe Cities, the memories will stay with us for a very long time.
