I have just returned from an excellent holiday to Callella.

My friend and I have been touring Europe for the last 7 years on coach trips with different companies.  This was our first time with Leger and we were so impressed with everything.  It was so nice to know on your travel documents when you would be staying overnight, and the organisation at Dover was so much better than anything we had encountered before.

The overnight hotels were excellent and the main hotel - Volga in Callella was super, but a little noisy at times!!!!  The food was excellent, and the staff were very friendly, but beware the headwaiter - he was a bit bossy!!!!!  DON'T TAKE A DRINK FROM THE BAR INTO THE DINING ROOM (OR ELSE!)

We had some good day trips - Tossa de Mar; Lloret de Mar; Blanes - lovely seaside resorts.  Barcelona was lovely - we were taken around the highlights by coach, so there was very little walking.  Girona and  Besalu were lovely places too.

This was an efortless holiday - very relaxing and enjoyable and we would thoroughly recommend it to one and all.

I really recommend the this Spanish holiday. If you like a beach holiday there is a very good beach right along the coast.

You can catch the train which runs right along the coast line and visit the other resorts or even get to Barcelona. It is not very expensive to use.

We stayed in the Hotel Volga which was large and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and there were lots of board games to play in the lounge (just ask behind reception for the counters etc)

The pool area is clean and they do snacks round the pool.

The restaurant is very nice and the food is to die for. Prepared to gain weight! The salads and sweets were presented beautifully and there were so many choices we were well and truly spoilt.

To get your bearings when you arrive in Calella there is a nippy little train that will take you round the streets. It is only a few euros but it helps you find where things are. There are lots of shops and restaurants around the hotel.

This is a very good holiday and I would highly recommend it.

Happy Travelling!
