Anyone going on the above tour? I booked it in October and was lucky enough to get one of the free single sups. on offer! Be good to know if anybody else who comes on here is booked on it too.

Always a worry that a tour might be cancelled late in the day if there are lack of numbers.

Hotel Change - Anne Frank and Oscar Schindler 28/04/08

I received a letter regarding a hotel change for the 3 days in Krakow, and im absolutely gutted. The original hotel -- The Express by Holiday Inn was based right in the city centre and looked fantastic (as 3* hotels go) we have now been moved to Hotel Apis based 2.5 Km from the city and is much cheaper (both in price and quality) As a student myself money is tight, and hard to come by, there is now the expense of taxis' or buses, to get into town.

The reason for the change is that they were informed that a large group of students would be staying, I would like to hear from any others going on this trip for their opinions of the change, and for its reason.

I dont understand how this is just cause to switch to a cheaper hotel, it seems suspect that we have been down graded 'for our convenience' for something that many of us wouldn't consider a disturbance.

It is unrealistic to think that in a city there will be no young people in a hotel, therefore it seems like if we are to be switched without being conferred with we should be upgraded if they dont want us to feel sore about it.

please let me know how you feel about this change, if you agree maybe we could get our original hotel back .

Austria A/I Silver Service - Not !!

A great start for anyone who has booked for the Austria All inclusive SILVER SERVICE tour on 22/09/2007. A letter today from Michele Roebuck of Leger Customer Relations to inform us all that due to their inability to organise a SILVER SERVICE coach from Calais to Brussels this first part of the holiday will be by STANDARD ie "Executive" less leg room coach. We are assured that this coach "will be of high specification and very comfortable" - makes you wonder why you bothered booking a SILVER SERVICE holiday. Oh and by they way there is NO offer of any form of compensation, not even maybe free coffee on the "Executive" coach. Do you too, like me, remember those days when there was such a thing called "Goodwill" where a company prized itself on doing the right thing and not hiding behind their "Terms and Conditions" ?

Come on Leger you can do better for those of us on this tour !!

Hi, I'm going solo to Sorrento as my wife is not keen to come so I am looking for fellow travellers who might be interested in eating out in the evenings. I am staying at the hotel Londra (not sure of the spelling) on bed and breakfast basis as I wanted to try the restaurants. I'm also doing all the trips so I'd be pleased to meet anyone doing the same. On the day in Sorrento I was thinking about going westward along the coast to find a little cove to have swim but I don't have any firm plans yet.
