Smashing people, wonderful food, lovely country with beautiful coastline resorts.

Hotel Kristal is comfortable and an ideal base for this tour. Hotel food is buffet style, as much as you can eat,in a large airy dining room - if you can't find something you like to eat you must be a very 'picky eater'. An added bonus is that the drinks are free during the evening meal.

Porec town is a very pleasant 15-20 minute walk from the hotel along the coastline -anyone with mobility problems can catch the coastal 'road-train' for a couple of Kuna.

If you want a change from eating in the hotel then there are some excellent restaurants in Porec old town.

The caves at Postojna are very impressive but my favorite visit to the Stud Farm at Lipica, the horses are beautiful.

I would definitely go again but for longer next time, 6 days in resort is definitelyenough 'cos there's so much to do.
