We did all of the optional excursions which were excellent, especially Garnish Island and visiting Blarney Castle (Kissing the stone too!). All of the hotels were very good, the 1st was we stayed at was The Seven Oaks in Cork which was absolutely excellent, the hotel manager was there at 10:30pm to greet us and welcome us to the hotel, the next morning he was also up serving us all breakfast. Our main hotel was Glengarriff, this was a nice hotel too but in the evening there was nothing to do and no entertainment. On the last night we stayed at Hilton Hotel Dublin and this was another excellent hotel, although the restaurant was very expensive and we found it cheaper to order room service which provided a different more varied menu. Travelling by coach you get to see all of the scenery and things you would miss driving yourself, although the journey was very long and most days was spent sat on the coach travelling through Ireland itself but that is what you expect from a coach tour! Id recommend Ireland to anyone, it is simply beautiful!
