The architecture is amazing and to see Paris lit up at night is marvelous. Do not worry about queueing up to go to the top of the tower as you can pre book an excursion with the driver to go up the Montparnasse Tower which is actually taller than the Eiffel Tower and gives you the most amazing view over Paris.

The three course evening meal is in a traditional French cellar and gets you into the real swing of things.

The trip to Versailles is wonderful and the dancing fountains are not to be missed.

There is a lot to do on this trip but it is worth it, if you have made the effort to visit such a beautiful city then you might as well push the boat out and see everything there is on offer.

I shall definitely be going back as there is still loads to see, a weekend is not enough time to get round everything in this beautiful city but it does give you a "taster" for it.
