It's put our minds at rest and we are still planning on making contact to book the Gems of Austria tour....probably tomorrow! :)

Thank you for replying and I'll be in touch.

Regards

Adrian

RE: Advice Required

Hi Adrian

I am delighted to read that you may possibly take a trip with us to Austria. I was surprised to read your comments about the Berger's Sport Hotel especially as it is one of our most popular and long standing hotels.

My Director stayed at this particular hotel on a Director's choice holiday in 06 and thoroughly enjoyed it. The Hotel does get busy during the height of their season which is Winter however we only use the Hotel during the Summer which is a quiet period.

If you do decide to chose the Little Trains of Austria tour them I would be more than happy to see if I can organise a visit to the Grossglockner Glacier with the Hotel.

It is good to hear from you and please feel free to contact me..

Lisa

Lisa Coulby
Customer Champion

Advice Required

My wife and I are looking to pay a visit to Austria with Leger, but on checking out the hotel used in the Gems of Austria tour (Sport Berger Hotel), I have found a number of recent reports stating that the hotel is not up to a 4* standard in both food and accommodation. It has also been noted that it is certainly not the place to go for peace and quiet with music thumping through the hotel until the early hours of the morning.

I was wondering if anyone has had any recent experience of the hotel and could give me their opinions of it?

We are specifically looking at this tour as it visits the Grossglockner glacier.

Alternatively we may choose the little trains tour. Does anyone know if in Niederau (where the hotels are for the little trains tour) there is a travel agent/operator that could book us on to a Grossglockner glacier tour for one of the days that's marked as optional in the itinery?

Many thanks

Adrian
