seating plans

I have just got the travel details for my trip to switzerland and have noticed we have been allocated seats on the coach . I am travelling with my mother and husband and would like to know where seats 23.24 and 32 are situated as i was rather hoping we would be all seated together. :ermm:

can any one help ?

any suggestions on how much swiss currency i might need on this trip ? I already have £100 worth of euros and I am hoping that will be enough for the french stretch or the tour.

can you please advise us

we of course would want to do all of the excursions which i presume can be paid by credit card

Currency needs

At Easter I'll be going on the Prague, Vienna and Budapest tour and at the end of May I'm doing the Grand Russian Spectacular. What do I need int eh way of currencies for tips, drinks,souvenirss, lunches, etc. I don't want to end up with lots of cash left over in currencies I'll not use again, nor do I want to be counting pennies or going without.

Any advice welcome.

Off to Austria on 10th May, can you advise on the individual costs of the optional tours yet? Do you know if there are still evening events, schnapps evening, mountain side ride, etc, organised and there costs?

Luggage Size

Hi, I was just reading through our itinerary and looking over the luggage size section. It says the case must be no longer than 60cm.....we're 5cm over on both cases, but under on all other measurements. So how strict are the coaches on case size? My guess is 5cm is not going to make much difference as someone else's case is bound to be slightly smaller! ;)

If they are very strict on size then it's kinda tough as these are the only cases we have that come close to the measurements and we can't really afford to go buying more new cases! :unsure:

Extra trips on Explore Ostend tour

We are booked on the Explore Ostend tour next month (September) and just wanted to know if you know the cost of the extra tours (Ypres & Sluis) which I take is payable once there. Also with the luggage allowance, where you state 1 medium suitcase plus 1 piece of hand luggage is that for storage in the overhead space?

Less than a month to go so we are both looking forward to the break.

Prague, Vienna & Budapest for Singles

I've traveled befor on a couple of tours, the last being in May to Sorrento and the Neapolitan Riviera, which by the way was a great trip.

My next tour on the 8th Sept is Prague, Vienna & Budapest for Singles.

I know we usually pay for the optional tours on the coach traveling to our destination. Can you advise the cost of the options on this tour, which if I'm correct are:

1. Prague by Night, and

2. Vienna Sightseeing.

Will payment for the Prague tour have to be made in Czech Koruna or Euros?

Coach trip to Euro disney

I have just picked up my tickets for euro disney next friday and i have come on here to have a quick look and im really worried. My husband and i are taking our 4 children and it says the feeder coach wont have a toilet?? How can i have 4 kids on a coach from Derbyshire to Dover with no toilet :angry: And it also says that its a garentee that we will sit together yet on the tickets we arent. How can i let the kids sit on there own :angry: is there anything i can do about it or is it too late now? I did ask the travel agent when i booked if i can book seats together and he said no. Now im dead mad and worried

Cost of Extra Trips and How much money to take?

I know this question will be a bit like how long is a piece of string;) , but do you have any rough idea on how much money is required for going on the Gems of Austria tour? I'd also like to know what the costs of the extra tours are? We are on the sliver service tour so would only need to know how much the Train ride tour would be on Day 4 and Eagles Nest tour on Day 5. Also how do we arrange the additional tours??

I'd just like to get a rough idea of costs really. Oh, and I just thought....does anyone know if eating out is expensive or not? i.e. lunch times for sandwiches etc?

So many questions!! lol! Hope someone has some idea!

BTW, once I've been on the tour I'll stick a review on the site for everyone given there isn't one at the moment! :)

Luggage on singles holiday to Austria

Please can you tell me if I require a small bag with overnight clothes and toiletries for the first night in Belgium, and is the suitcase taken off the coach at the hotel in Belgium?

What's everyone's opinion on the in flight service of different airlines? Which is the best service?

I had only flown on European and North American airlines until recently, when I flew on Emirates to New Zealand. I find their service so much better than what I had experienced before, from the staff to the in flight entertainment, to the meals, which vary on each flight.

What other airlines are good?

My wife and I are doing the 14 day Highlightds of Eastern Europe Silver Service tour in April.

My wife is concerned that we are only supposed to take one suitcase each and feels that this is insufficient for this type of tour. There will be little opportunity to do personal laundry when we will be staying in different hotels almost each night. Has anyone esxperienced this before, was it OK to take more than one suitcase particularly on Silver Service- which is supposed to be the Upgrade option.

A visit to the ruins of Pompeii

On a recent trip to Pompeii we had a young lady who used a wheelchair in our party. Unfortunately I cannot say that Pompeii is wheelchair friendly and the men in our group finished carrying her and the chair round or she would have missed all the sights. I would not recommend this trip for anyone with severe walking difficulties or wheelchair users.
