HELLO EVERYONE,

My name is ANDY. I would like to express my sincere thanks and those of my family for all the kind words of support, concern and encouragement that have been directed our way since the accident in Belgium on 10th June.

I am now home from hospital and fully discharged. I have my first appointment with the prosthetics team on 13th August on I am feeling much more positive for the future. Of course I will never be able to drive again professionally & I will miss that, but I am confident that my experience over 25 years will allow me to continue in some capacity within the industry once I am fully healed.

I would particularly like to thank all those within the Leger team for the care they have shown and especially for the speed with which they brought my wife out to my bedside on that Sunday evening! Without her I would not have made it through that first few days!

who were the drivers in the belgium accident

New Avatar Galleries

For those of you looking to personalise your posts a little I have just added some new avatar galleries. Those who don't know what an avatar is..... it's the little picture on the left of this post (providing you are using the alternative skin). You can select your skin at the bottom of the forum homepage.

To add an avatar from the new galleries simply go to the 'Edit Avatar' section of your control panel and select either the male or female avatar gallery. I'll be adding to these galleries in time, so if anyone would like me to create an avatar for them just send me either a picture or a description and I'll see what I can do.

Launch of travel guide podcasts

We have just gone live with travel guide podcasts from PocketVox which provides our customers with the facility to download audio travel guides to take on holiday so that they can discover at their own pace the main monuments, artistic masterpieces and select districts in many of the world's leading cities.

Interactive Itinerary Maps

We have added a further bit of functionality to the site, it is now possible to view an itinerary using Google maps:-

The green push pins indicate the hotel's location and the red push pins show the excursions.

You can zoom in and out and even view in map or satellite mode.

Also by clicking on the excursions text (to the right of the map within tour includes) you can jump to the map and the specific excursion..
