| I am an OAP booked on the Lake Como tour in September and staying at the Hotel Excelsior Splendide. Can anyone answer the following questions:- 1) Does the hotel have air conditioning 2) Is it clean? 3) Are there mosquitoes in September? 4) What trips do you recommend? (I like visiting gardens.) 5) Will the swimming pool be open in September?

I've spoken to the Hotels team here at Leger Holidays and they have provided the following answers to your questions.
I hope they help!

1) Does the hotel have air conditioning?
There is air conditioning in the restaurant but not in the rooms.
2) Is it clean?
Yes
3) Are there mosquitoes in September?
Highly likely given the location of the hotel. We would suggest taking insect repellent & treatment if you are worried about bites.
4) What trips do you recommend? (I like visiting gardens.)
The excursion programme we have put together is ideal to get the most out of your trip to Lake Como, but we would definitely recommend the optional Lake Cruise to Villa Carlotta & Balbianello, as the gardens here are magnificent.
5) Will the swimming pool be open in September?"
The swimming pool closes at the end of September so should be open for your holiday, however this is dependent on weather conditions.
