Hey....Our Hotel In Lake Garda....WOW it was the most gorgeous hotel...weather was lovely and i got to swim in the pool most of the time even though the pool is constantly ice cold! there are sun beds, the food is absolutely gorgeous, and the rooms are lovely! i would definately reccomend it ! the other hotel was the hotel royal, but that was the other silver service. the hotel we stayed in was called the Hotel Giuliana both are situated within 5 mins walk from each other and the lake, and about 10 minutes walk from the main centre of Riva del Garda. the whole lake is beautiful, and it is my favourite place on earth xxx hope this has helped ! xx

I stayed at the Guilana last year and agree that it is an excellent hotel, although the food was a bit 'German' and stodgy. The pool was delightful and I swam there night and morning every day.

The day out to the Verona Opera would have been long and tiring - from morning to late evening  - but I took a picnic and hired a taxi out to the beautiful and cool Guisti gardens on the outskirts of Verona (about a fiver) where I spent a restful afternoon before returning for the evening opera (which was fabulous!).

All in all it was an excellent holiday and the extra I paid for the Silver Service was well worth it.  (I wish the trip to Lake Como this year had that service.)
