We Leger Holidays Limited and Leger Air Holidays Limited (“we”) are data controllers. In order to process your booking, we need to collect certain personal details from you. These include, where applicable, the names and contact details of party members, credit/debit card or other payment details and special requirements such as those relating to any disability or medical condition which may affect the chosen holiday arrangements or any insurance you wish to purchase and any dietary restrictions which may disclose your religious beliefs.

If we need any other personal details, we will tell you before we obtain them from you. We need to pass on your personal details to the companies and organisations who need to know them so that your holiday or other service you have requested can be provided (for example your airline, hotel, other supplier (for example insurance provider), credit/debit card company or bank). Such companies and organisations may be outside the European Union, Norway, Iceland or Liechtenstein if your holiday is to take place or to involves suppliers outside these countries. Sometimes we may also need to provide your details to the relevant authorities (erg. immigration authorities) in the UK and the country(ies) you are visiting in order to comply with immigration and other requirements.

We may store and use your personal details (except sensitive personal details) for future marketing purposes (for example, sending you our brochure or details of a promotion, including by email or telephone).

Leger Holidays Limited and Leger Air Holidays Limited are members of the Sunway group of companies, which includes their associated companies (the"Group"), a complete list of which is available on request. We may also pass your details onto other companies within the Group (see above) or to selected supplier’s so that they may send you information on their products and services (including financial services) which we feel may be of interest to you.

We may also monitor and/or record your telephone conversations and other correspondence with the Group for security purposes and to ensure consistent customer service levels (including staff training).

Occasionally we hire other companies to provide services on our behalf, for example mailing information to our customers. We only provide those companies with the personal details relating to our customers which they require in order to deliver the service. They are prohibited from using that information for any other purpose. We will ensure that anyone to whom we pass your details for this reason agrees to treat it with the same level of protection we are obliged to provide.

We may need to disclose our customer database, including any personal data relating to you contained therein, to a third party who acquires or attempts to acquire all or substantially all of the assets or stocks in our company or our website service whether by merger, acquisition, reorganisation or otherwise.

Except where expressly permitted by the Data Protection Act or other privacy legislation, we will only deal with the personal details you give us as set out above unless you agree otherwise. You are generally entitled to ask us (by letter or e-mail) what details of yours are being held or processed, for what purpose and to whom they may be or have been disclosed. We will charge a fee to respond to such a request. We promise to respond to your request within 40 days of receiving your written request and fee. In certain limited circumstances we are entitled to refuse your request.

If you believe that any of your personal details which we are processing are inaccurate or incorrect please contact us immediately.

If you do not wish us to use or pass on your information in the ways stated above, please let us know at the time you provide us with your details or, if you do not do so then, at any time subsequently.   You are free to amend your choice as to how we use your details at any time by sending an email to unsubscribe@leger.co.uk or by telephoning us or writing to us – see contact details below.  Please bear in mind however that if you do not allow us to use your data in some of the ways mentioned above, we will be unable to provide you with the services you have requested.

Booking Information

Information about you (and your travelling party) may be passed to holiday providers and others and may be include things such as religious beliefs, dietary requirements and your (and your travelling party’s) physical or mental health. This information may also be transferred abroad.

Insurance

If you apply for insurance then we may process information (including medical information) about you (or your travelling party) and pass it to the insurers.

Contacting You

To contact you via email, letter or phone with details of Leger Holidays and associated companies, Sunway Group or selected suppliers’ products and services including financial services, which may be of interest to you. We may also monitor and/or record your telephone conversations and other correspondence with the Group for security purposes and to ensure consistent customer service levels (including staff training). You signify your consent to us collecting and using this information by your use of this website.
