Leger’s Success Continues on The History Channel

Leger Holidays Continue a Successful Marketing Campaign With The History Channel

Leger Holidays, the UK’s leading provider of European battlefield tours, is continuing to develop a successful marketing campaign with The History Channel including a programme sponsorship and a comprehensive marketing campaign.

Following the outstanding response to the first advertising and marketing campaign in spring 2007, Leger has chosen to continue sponsorship of relevant battlefield-themed programmes with the channel throughout November. Sponsorship will take the form of pre and post-programme idents alongside a continued website presence.

For this campaign the History Channel website will feature banners, a Leger microsite and links to Leger’s own site. Plus, in collaboration with the History Channel, Leger also created five informative and compelling downloadable podcasts which continue to be available to view through the site.

Huw Williams, Marketing Director at Leger Holidays, said: “The use of this campaign in May and June was highly successful in demonstrating just how far reaching our influence can be on screen and with an online audience.

“The History Channel audience already have a relevant interest in historical events so the Battlefields tours we offer are highly appealing to them. With the extension of this campaign we hope that interest in our tours will continue to rise significantly.”
