Andorra, 'Haven' of the Pyrenees

What our previous travellers have to say about this tour

"Our favourite day was the three countries excursion, we got a great sample of more traditional towns in France, Spain and Andorra which most people never get to see"

"Due to an unexpected week away from work my Girlfriend and I immediately reached for the Leger holidays brochure. After studying the dates available we eventually settled and agreed on the Andorra Haven tour. It’s a place we've both heard of but never been to.

The weeks flew by and before we knew it the time had come to be picked up for the start of our holiday. We had a nice ride down to Dover and switched coaches to our Transport for the next few days and also met our tour guides/drivers Mel and Liz. It didn't take too long before we were at our first hotel on the outskirts of Paris with a night time view of the Eiffel Tower.

Our journey down through France may have been long but was filled with quite a few breaks for refreshments, leg stretches and information about the local areas we were passing through. Our main hotel in Andorra ticked all the boxes for us, clean, tidy, friendly staff and excellent food and drink. Our first excursion to Andorra la Vella was a short journey away, the capital is ideal for shopaholics with bargains galore in virtually every store and a few interesting historic sites to visit.

The second excursion we enjoyed was to Barcelona, the drive was a little longer than we expected but did include see the awesome Montserrat mountain range. Although we only had a few hours in the city we got to see the Cathedral, La Sagrada Familia, Las Ramblas, Casa Batllo and even managed a traditional Paella.

Our favourite day was the three countries excursion, we got a great sample of more traditional towns in France, Spain and Andorra which most people never get to see. The drives were amazing with the best mountain views. Even taken in the world's largest solar energy plant which had most people think it was part of a well-known spy movie!

All too soon it was time to start our journey home, which again was very pleasant and relaxing. We're looking forward to doing another Leger tour in the near future.
