4-Day Break
- Dec 30 – Local departure then travel to our hotel in Rouen, where we stay for three nights.
- New Year’s Eve – Étretat and Fécamp (included). Our excursion takes us along the beautiful Normandy coastline and through picturesque countryside to Étretat famous for its huge chalk cliffs jutting out into the sea forming a dramatic natural arch. We then travel to the Bénédictine Palace in Fécamp, where you can sample the famous liqueur before returning to Rouen for tonight's celebrations. B,D
- New Year’s Day – Rouen (included). After a leisurely brunch, we have the day to relax and explore Rouen. Admire the Notre Dame Cathedral, with its splendid Butter Tower, immortalised in paintings by Claude Monet. See the statue of St. Joan of Arc and the fine half timbered buildings in the Old Town. Br
- Jan 2 – We journey to Calais, then return home. B
