- Dec 29 – Local departure then onward to Belgium for an overnight stay.
- Dec 30 – We travel south through Germany and into Austria to our hotel in Brandenberg for four nights. B,D
- New Year's Eve – Salzburg (included), Guided Walking Tour (optional). One of the most beautiful cities in Austria, Salzburg offers lovely squares and medieval lanes, Gothic churches and quaint cafés. It is also famed as the setting for ‘The Sound of Music’. An optional guided walking tour is a wonderful way to discover this city, with sights featured in the film, along with many other attractions. We return to our hotel for tonight’s Gala dinner and New Year’s Eve celebration. B,D
- New Year's Day – Ziller Valley (optional). A leisurely start this morning before we enjoy a scenic drive along the Ziller Valley with time in the beautiful resort of Mayrhofen. B,D
- Jan 2 – Innsbruck (included). We travel to the grand city of Innsbruck, the capital of the Tyrol. Explore the old town area and see the famous Golden Roof, the Hofburg Palace, St. James’ Cathedral and the Maria Theresien Strasse. Why not join our optional sightseeing tour with local English-speaking guide seeing the main sights, including, the Olympic Ice Stadium, the Berg Isel ski jump and the beautiful Wilten Basilica.B, D
- Jan 3 – We leave Austria after breakfast and travel north to Belgium for an overnight stay. B
- Jan 4 – Return home to the U.K. B
