9-Day Break
- Day 1 – Local departure by coach or by Eurostar from London and onwards to Paris for an overnight stay.
- Day 2 – TGV from Paris to Perpignan then by coach to Santa Susanna for a six-night stay. B,D
- Day 3 – Barcelona (included); Guided Tour (optional). We travel to the fascinating city of Barcelona, capital of the Catalonia region. Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, particularly along Las Ramblas, a pedestrianised street that leads down towards the port, and is popular with street entertainers. Join our optional guided tour to see Barcelona’s many sights such as Gaudi’s Sagrada Familia, a spectacular church begun in 1882 and still
under construction today! B,D
- Day 4 – Montserrat (optional). Known locally as the ‘serrated mountain’, this mountain-top Benedictine monastery dates back to the 9th century. Its beautiful Basilica and turbulent history make it a fascinating place to visit. B,D
- Day 5 – Costa Brava Coastal Tour (optional). We travel north to Tossa de Mar. Within the medieval walls are fishermen’s cottages, a 14th-century church and plenty of bars. We continue to Lloret de Mar, the busiest and liveliest resort on the Costa Brava. B,D
- Day 6 – Catalan Country Tour (optional). We head to the cool of the wooded hills of Catalonia, accompanied by our local guide visiting local villages. During our day a delicious typical Catalan lunch will be served. B,D
- Day 7 – Girona and Besalu (optional). Our first stop is the charming town of Girona on the bank of the River Onyar. Colourful houses line the river front and behind them is the Old Town with its imposing Gothic cathedral, and maze of narrow streets. We then make our way to the medieval town of Besalu. B,D
- Day 8 – By coach to Perpignan then by TGV to Paris and overnight in Paris area. B
- Day 9 – Return home by coach or by Eurostar. B

You can travel to Paris by Eurostar from London St. Pancras or Ebbsfleet, at a supplement of £39 return.
Please note that taxi transfers between Gare du Nord Eurostar station and your hotel in Paris are extra and cost around €30 each way.
