During Turkish occupation a bridge (Stari Most) was built across the river, which became a symbol of the city. It has now been fully restored to its former glory with the huge walls, built between the 11th and 17th centuries still intact. Take a walk along the stone ramparts of the city for the best views, before
venturing inside to experience the many treasures. Our included guided city tour will show the main highlights including the Cathedral, Knezev Palace and Franciscan Monastery. B,D

The sixth largest Croatian island, it is 20 miles long and only between 4 and 5 miles wide. Local legend says that Prince Antenor of Troy founded the Korcula settlement. You will have the opportunity to shop for some of the island’s most famous exports, including olive oil and red wine. Later, enjoy winestasting on the island of nearby Peljesac. B,D
- Day 7 – Montenegro (optional). We offer a full day optional excursion to neighbouring Montenegro. From Lepatane we cross the only fjord in the Mediterranean to Kamenari and reach the well-preserved city of Kotor. The entire city is criss-crossed with narrow streets and squares. Lord Byron judged this part of the coast as ‘the most beautiful encounter between land and sea’. An optional city sightseeing tour will also be available. B,D
- Day 8 – Split Guided Tour (included); Trogir Guided Tour (included). We leave Dubrovnik and head north along the coast to reach Split.
