St. Aubin's Bay Popular with waterskiers and windsurfers alike, and with those who enjoy swimming and sunbathing, the lovely beach of St. Aubin's Bay stretches about a quarter of the width of the island. The town itself is full of character, with a pretty harbour and wonderful sea views.

St. Brelades Bay

Visit St. Brelades Bay, a large sandy beach in a lovely, sheltered location, with boats and beach-front cafes and is possibly one of the most popular bays on the island.

Corbiere Lighthouse

One of Jersey’s most famous landmarks, and probably its most photographed building, Corbiere Lighthouse was Britain's first reinforced concrete lighthouse. It sits on the south-west coast of Jersey and, on a clear day, is one of the first landmarks to be seen by visitors approaching the island by ferry from Guernsey.

La Rocque Harbour

At the most easterly point of Jersey, La Rocque harbour is a lovely area to explore. From the end of the harbour you can see the 19th Century Icho Tower, the beach at the harbour catches the sun all day long, with soft white sand and a lovely, sheltered location, and behind the harbour lies many rock pools, frequented by fish and crabs.

St. Saviour's Church

Located in St. Saviour, the parish with the smallest coastline, St. Saviour's Church, with its distinctive square tower, is linked with the name of Lily Langtry, the famous actress and one of Jersey's most controversial icons. She was born in the Rectory and married twice in the church, and when she died in 1929, was buried in the churchyard.

Gorey

Visit Gorey, a charming little town on the east coast of Jersey, and home to one of the three main harbours on the island, lined with a row of picturesque houses. Here you'll also find one of the best examples of a Medieval concentric castle, which dates back to the 12th century, and which was the island's main defence against the French, whose coastline was only 14 miles away.

Jersey Pottery

Over the years, Jersey Pottery has become an award-winning ceramics brand and is one of the island's oldest family businesses and a firm fixture of the local community. Situated in Gorey village on the east of the island, you'll find a wonderful shop filled with plates, cups, saucers, money boxes – the list goes on. Visitors can also see work in action, from throwing and decorating, to glazing and firing. The site also boasts restaurants, a florists and beautiful gardens to stroll around.
