Overview - Israel
Glistening skyscrapers, glamorous cities and fertile hillsides aren’t the first images often conjured in the mind when thinking about Israel, but this beautiful country has developed into a modern metropolis, a far cry from anything you could have ever imagined.
But don’t worry if you are in search of a more traditional holiday. Israel’s historic capital city, Jerusalem, is packed with sacred shrines and gilded temples just waiting to be explored. And if you would like to spend your days relaxing then the countries white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters are a sun worshippers dream!
If you’re searching for a guided tour of Israel then our Highlights of the Holyland tour could be a perfect fit for what you’ve been looking for. We visit both the old and new cities of Jerusalem, the Dead Sea, Nazarath and so many more iconic locations.

Louis and Sandra Lalman - Highlights of the Holyland by Air
Louis and Sandra Lalman chose this tour for its historical and biblical sites, and told us: “We have had many enjoyable holidays with Leger in Europe, but our tour of Israel and the Highlights of the Holyland was by far the best holiday we have ever had.”
When we arrived at Tel Aviv, we were met by our tour rep. and tour guide, and our coach driver. Our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable of all the history of Israel, and especially all the holy sites we visited. We met up with other British tourists on the coach and we all became friends throughout the tour.
