Overview - France
Amazing architecture, picturesque fishing villages and mouth-watering cuisine – it’s easy to see why our coach holidays in France are amongst our most popular tours.
By day you can explore magnificent sights including the Verdon Gorge, the famous Eiffel Tower and the impressive Pont du Gard aqueduct. Then at night, you can relax with some locally produced wine and the freshest food you’ll ever taste.
If you’re looking to do something a little out of the ordinary, head over to the villages of the Auvergne and be amazed by the medieval buildings, historic churches and volcanic hills that decorate this beautiful region.

Carol Thornton - Highlights of Provence & the Dordogne
In need of a break from her busy business, Carol Thornton joined Leger’s ‘Highlights of Provence and the Dordogne’ 9-day holiday.
I had never taken a coach tour before, or taken many holidays alone. All my other travelling companions were doing other things, so I just went to my local travel agency and booked with Leger.
The coach picked me up near my home and travelled to Dover with a few pick ups on the way. After a short hop across the Channel we continued to our overnight hotel near Paris. Although travelling alone, everyone was friendly and I especially liked the lounge area at the rear of the coach – I was soon chatting with my travelling companions. The onboard drinks service was a bonus, with the odd glass of red wine adding to the ambience.
